Thai Food.

Hi, today i would like to give you some of Thai food culture. In older time we didn't use spoon or fork, but we were using our hand to eat. In Thai foods have 5 flavors in each dish such as sweet, sour, salty, spicy and bitter. It is give a person who eats food many that they like. Thai food also has Phrik nam pla that sever with most of the meals. Phrik nam pla is sour and a little spicy. The famous Thai dishes are Tom yam kung, Phat Thai kung and many others. I hope you guy could visit some Thai restaurants or if you visit Thailand you will find a lot of good dishs there. Thank you.

Thai Instruments

Hi everyone today I would like to introduce Thai instruments. We have Thai instruments for long periods of time. Thai instruments have a pretty soft voice and smooth. It has many type of the instruments such as Klui Flute, Kim, Ranat Ek, Ching, and many other things. It was Thai classic music. It used a lot in Broadway show in old times. We also have a show called Ligay. Liguy is a old show and also still have it now but most of them were played on country place. When I was young I was learning how to played Klui Flute, but it was hard. Now, I don't know how to play now. Thank you

Education

Hi, how are you guy doing? I would like to talk about the different between Thailand and the USA. In Thailand we have to dress up in uniform. In the USA don't need to dress a uniform but only for some private that need to dress a uniform. In Thailand, they teach 50minutes per class and we have 7-8 periods every days. In the USA, they teach 40-45 minutes per class and we have 6-8 periods every days. The vacation day is very different because in Thailand there are less day off then here. I am not sure is there still the same now. Thank you

Muay Thai

Hi, I would like to talk about Muay Thai. Muay Thai has been in Thailand for long times. It was using for protect our self and country. I mean for country because in old time. Muay Thai was a second weapon for soldiers. It was use when soldiers drop there weapons. It was a dangerous Martial Art to used because it was using for killing. Muay Thai has became famous for other country as will and they called Kickboxing. In nowadays, they won't use elbow in the ring because it was to dangerous. I hope you guy could see a real Muay Thai boxing in the ring. Thank you

Temple Camping

I went to temple camping when I was around 11 or 12 years old. My class and other classes we were stayed at temple for 3 days and 2 nights. It was scary because in temple believe that it has a ghost. We had to woke up at 5:00 a.m. and sleep at 10:00 p.m. .In the temple we can't eat after 12:00 p.m. so we were eating in the morning and before afternoon. We could drink water all the time. We are sleep spelt. One big room for all boys and meal teachers. Other room for girls and female teachers. It was very fun because we had do things together like eat, sleep, shower, and many other things. We had to pray before we eat and before go to sleep. It was different pray for eat and sleep. I am not sure why but that how the monks in Thailand did it. You guy can learn more about the temple and our religion more if you interesting on it. Thank you.

Visit Thailand

In Thailand has a lot of place that you can visit it. We have mountains, oceans, forests, and many other places that you can go. We have a lot of foods and desserts that you will love it. In Thailand have a different accent. In north, south, west and east, we have a little different accent, but we can use one main Thai language to talk. Thailand is a nice place that it has a lot of fun. i think if you going with your family's or friends, it will give you a better traps. I hope if you guy have time please visit Thailand. Thank you.

Travel in USA

I have travel some places in the U.S. I went to New Jersey, Pensiveness, Boston, Washington D.C. and Niagara Fall. I went to Six Fag in New Jersey with my dad, my brother, and my dad friends. I went to a town that didn't have much electric in Pensiveness with my mom, grandma and my mom friend. In Boston I visit my friend and stay there couple of weeks. I went to Washington D.C. couple of time because when my grandma here and my family member visit us. Also it was similar with Niagara Fall. I have a lot of fun. I can see a lot of things on the way of my trip. If I have a change I would like to go with either my family or my friends. I hope we will have a lot of fun. Thank you

Friends

Hi, today i would like to talk about my friends. In the United States, I don't have much friends. First one i know he name was Gary. I know him from my middle school. He helped me with school work and we play together on lunch time break. when I go to high school. I met a guy name Takashi from Asian. He is half Korean and half Japanese. He was friendly, funny, gentleman, and other things. I like to go to his house and play card games. I also met 2 Thai friends. They are brother and sister but they also have another younger brother. I know more about bigger brother. We talk to each other a lot. He likes to call me almost everyday. I have more friends but I think I could mansion all of them. Thank you.

New York

Hi, i came to the U.S. many years age. When I came here to New York. I didn't know any English. I was feel a little lonely because I don't know anyone yet. First day of school I was learn one sentient from my mom that it was " I don't speak English." As the day gone by I had learned how to speak, to read, to write and met a new friend. I had met a lot of people from different countries. It was fun to know them because I learn and help each other out. When I finished my middle school i went to high school. i was nervous because it was a new school and it was more people. Before the school done about 2 months i got a new friends who just came from Thailand. This is a begging of my life in the U.S.. Maybe it will be continue later. Thank you.

Sam Chuk

Hi, I would like to continue from the last post. I was talking about Sam Chuk. Sam Chuk is a little city of Suphan Buri. It is locate northwest of Bangkok. I was raise in the city and went to school to learn Thai language there. Nowadays Sam Chuk is very popular from 100 years old market. 100 years old market got a award from the UNESCO and other awards. Sam Chuk is old wood house and it was locate next to one of a rival calls Maa Nam Tha Cheen. The rival was used for bring stuffs from China and other countries. It is crowed on Saturday and Sunday. People can go to relax, shop, eat, and many other things. I hope you can visit Sam Chuk if you have a chance to go to Thailand. I have some pictures of Sam Chuk to show you. Hi, my name is Tanapong Seangboonwattana. I came from Thailand. I was born in New York. I lived here about 5 years or more. I miss Thailand. I hope someday I can go back and visit my family and friends. When i was in Thailand, i lived in small city calls Sam Chuk. It was just before I came to the U.S. that city become known as "100 Years Old Market." I'm very happy about that because it makes my city has a lot of tours come on the holiday or weekend.
